Saliente Fly Fiesta

The weekend of June 23rd saw the Saliente fly site alive with local and visiting pilots from Almanzora, Purchena, Lorca, Murcia and even Malaga. Over 15 pilots came to fly and thanks to a change in the wind on Saturdayafternoon- flew above the Santuario watched by a fifty strong audience. Acro-ing, (acrobatic flying for those who dont know) thermalling and landing in front of the church all thrilled the crowds! Even Ramon was seen to smile and Steve and Antonio looked quite pleased (relieved) too! Thanks to all the pilots, DJ Bumble for the flying tunes, raffle queen Sam and Trish for minding the stall!
