Sept 1st our flying fiesta ! the forcast was
levante (easterly winds) normaly not a problem
here in Saliente when we get alot of thermal heating
in the valley, but couple this with cloud cover
and you get alot of pilots waiting at takeoff until
a thunderstorm cloud started developing
behind takeoff and we all went for a beer instead!
4 of us flew earlier on in the day for well over an hour
having great flights but sods law when
everyone turned up to fly or watch it was pretty
much un flyable.What a difference a day makes!
sunday however was a different story!
